A little more about me...

I graduated from Luther Burbank High School in 1995 then went on and earned by Bachelor of Arts with a focus in English & Communications and a Minor in Business from St. Mary's University in 2000 both in San Antonio, Texas.

I then worked in Residence Life and Student Activities from 2000 to 2003 at Florida Southern College in Lakeland, FL and then Residence Life for the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale in Ft. Lauderdale from 2003 to 2004.

In May 2004 I decided to try achieving a dream which was to work for The Walt Disney Company in some form.

I packed up and moved to Orlando with friends and within a week I started at Disney University at Walt Disney World in June 2004. It's all about being prepared at the right moment and the right time.

I quickly was moved to a seasonal Cast Member status by September 2004, then part time, full time and finally salaried by 2006. Eventually my work led me to a promotion to their Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) department.

I was successful in my position because not only did I understand computers and websites but I could explain and work with others who weren't as familiar working on a computer or taking online training courses.

I was also able to work remotely and troubleshoot by email or on phone with any Cast Member or Disney employee across the globe whether on land or at sea. No one really knew my face but they knew my name and voice.

In August 2013 I left Walt Disney Parks & Resorts because I was ready to move back to San Antonio, Texas, my hometown.

I achieved one dream and was ready to come home to achieve a few more, one of which is:
